Con este tipo de acuerdo, usted tiene derecho a reabrir su caso para obtener prestaciones adicionales de compensaci\u00f3n de trabajadores en un plazo de cinco a\u00f1os a partir de la fecha de su lesi\u00f3n laboral. Despu\u00e9s de este per\u00edodo de cinco a\u00f1os, el porcentaje de incapacidad por accidente de trabajo se convierte en definitivo, pero la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica de por vida de compensaci\u00f3n de trabajadores permanece abierta.<\/p>\n<p>El segundo tipo de acuerdo de compensaci\u00f3n de trabajadores se conoce como \"Compromiso y Liberaci\u00f3n\". Este acuerdo implica un pago a tanto alzado libre de impuestos para resolver todas las cuestiones de compensaci\u00f3n de trabajadores relacionados con su caso de lesi\u00f3n de trabajo. Por lo general, estas cuestiones incluyen la incapacidad temporal, un porcentaje de incapacidad permanente por accidente de trabajo, los posibles beneficios retroactivos no pagados o sanciones, y la futura atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica por accidente de trabajo. Una vez que un juez de compensaci\u00f3n de trabajadores en una Junta de Apelaciones de Compensaci\u00f3n de Trabajadores aprueba un Compromiso y Liberaci\u00f3n, se convierte en un acuerdo final para todas las cuestiones, excepto en raras circunstancias.<\/p>\n<p>El tercer tipo de cierre para los casos de compensaci\u00f3n laboral es a trav\u00e9s de un juicio. El resultado de un juicio de compensaci\u00f3n al trabajador es generalmente similar a una Estipulaci\u00f3n con una Solicitud de Adjudicaci\u00f3n, como se discuti\u00f3 anteriormente.
